Our Facility in Hungary

SafeGard Medical Hungary is located in a valley; in the North-East part of Hungary, in Ozd, a town which is about 170 km drive from Budapest, the capital of Hungary. The modern factory building is newly constructed as a turn-key project, the construction was completed in 1997, large scale production was started in 1998. The built in area is over 6,000 square metres, including more than 300 square metres of office space.

SGMH has up-to-date manufacturing facilities and machinery in-house, which is necessary to produce our company’s sophisticated range of single use medical devices:

	100,000 class clean-room moulding department with CNC controlled injection moulding machines
	10,000 class clean-room assembling department with fully automatic needle and syringe assembling machines, as well as blister packaging equipment
	Quality Control Lab, which is utilising sophisticated measuring equipments and PC controlled rest units which are necessary to secure the continuous control of product manufactured
	ETO sterilisation department
	Well equipped raw material and finished products warehouse
	A maintenance workshop

All our products are CE marked and FDA approved. SGMH also has the certificate of EN ISO 9001: 2000/ISO 13485 standard, issued and verified by Det Norske Veritas.
